Residentials

At St James, our residential trips are a key component of the 'Sought' element of our Personal Development Strategy.

Stepping outside the familiar classroom environment provides a unique opportunity for young people to discover new strengths, build resilience, and foster deeper, meaningful connections with their peers.

Whether they are collaborating to solve outdoor challenges, exploring new environments, or simply taking responsibility for their daily routines away from home, these immersive experiences cultivate independence and boost self-confidence. Ultimately, our residentials develop lifelong teamwork and leadership skills that help us live out our Journey Drivers!

Year 4 - YHA Langdale, Lake District (Connecting to Nature Programme)

Year 5 and Year 6 - YHA York
