Consultation on Proposed Nursery

Dear Parents and Carers,

Re: Consultation on Proposed  Nursery at St James Haydock

We are writing to inform you of a proposed new nursey provision to start at St James School due to increased demand for nursery places in the area.

This proposal aims to support the needs of our community by providing early childhood education opportunities to a wide number of families. We believe that offering a nursery accommodating ages 2-4, can offer significant benefits to children and help to prepare them to be fully Reception ready.

Consultation Period

We value your input and would like to invite you to participate in a consultation period to discuss this proposed change. The consultation period will run from 2nd October 2025 until 24th October 2025. During this time, we encourage you to share your views, ask questions, and provide feedback.

How to Participate

Written Feedback: Please send your written comment [email protected] or drop them off at the school office.

We are committed to ensuring that any changes made are in the best interests of our children and the community. Your feedback is crucial in helping us make an informed decision.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter. We look forward to hearing your views and working together to enhance our nursery provision.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs J Young

Executive Head Teacher
