Gerbera Daisy Scripture and Prayer –  12th November 2021

Exodus 3:11

But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” [12] He said, “But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

Class prayer:

Dear God

Courage is facing your fears…

Only when you try your best.

Using the little voice we all have inside us.

Regaining our strength after bad times.

Although it might be hard to find sometimes, just keep trying.

God can help guide us through.

Everyone has it inside them, they just need to find it.

Amen.

Dear God,

Thank you for letting us trust in you and in our families and friends.

We trust that you are there to guide us each day and help us to make the right choices.

You teach us to care about others and help us to be kind.

You help us to look after our pets, gardens, friends, family and our school.

Thank you for giving us trustful people in our lives.

Please help us to remember to trust in you and to be the best that we can possibly be.

Amen

Sunflower Scripture and Prayer – 1st October 2021

Colossians 3:12-14

Friends are great! But every friendship has its ups and downs. For example, sooner or later, your friend will hurt your feelings. As a Christian, you need to make the choice to forgive your friend just as Jesus has forgiven you. Remember, you might be the one who needs forgiveness next time.

Lord please give my treasured friends
Love and blessings without end.
Bring contentment in their lifes;
Comfort them in times of strife.

Thank your for my treasured friends.
Always keep them safe, secure;
Let their path to You be sure.
Lord, I pray my friends will be
Close to You, eternally

Lord hear my heartfelt prayer to you.

Amen

Hydrangea Scripture and Prayer – 15th October 2021

Prayer:

Dear Jesus, We pray on this day that we can follow in Your footsteps and be loving and kind to our peers. Give us the strength and wisdom to think about Your life and your actions… “What Would Jesus Do?” Help us to show others, the love and kindness that You share with us each and every day. Amen

Reading:

1 Peter 3:8-9

Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.

Mark – Chapter 4, Verses 35 – 41

Jesus Stops a Storm

That evening. Jesus said to his followers. “Come with me across the lake,” He and the followers left the people there. They went in the boat that Jesus was already sitting in. There were also other boats with them. A very strong wind came up on the lake. The waves began coming over the sides and into the boat. It was almost full of water. Jesus was at the back of the boat, sleeping with his head on a pillow. The followers went to him and woke him. They said, “Teacher, do you care about us? We will drown!”

Jesus stood up and commanded the wind and the waves to stop. He said, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind stopped, and the lake become calm.

Jesus said to his followers, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”.

The followers were very afraid and asked each other. “What kind of man is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him.
